How to care for and maintain your deep wave wig
•Posted on April 12 2023
Are you tired of your boring hairstyle? Do you want to increase the length and curl? If your answer is yes, then a deep wave wig could be a practical choice. Your hair can last a year or two, depending on how you take care of it. You can have your hair bleached or dyed almost any color, but it's best to go to a professional stylist to properly bleach or dye your hair. Hair braid is sewn or bound to a hat or to the wearer's natural hair. It should not be removed and replaced too often because the process is time consuming, so you should take extra care to maintain it.
Let the fabric set for at least two weeks after installation to allow the fabric to rest on the pattern. In the meantime, don't get water on your hair and don't use any styling products.
Use a brush to remove grease or residue from fabric. Keep your knitting and brushing from end to end in a smooth, controlled motion. Continue to brush until the weave is complete.
Wash your deep wave lace front wig at least once a week with gentle water and a moisturizing shampoo. Run the shampoo through the bottom of the weave to make sure your scalp is cleaned. Rinse the shampoo thoroughly, then apply conditioner, also for curls.
Dry your hair with a hair dryer on a low temperature. If you want to add extra styling products, make sure they're free of alcohol and other ingredients that can be bad for your hair.
As the curls loosen a bit over time, heat with a curling iron on a medium temperature to keep the curls in place. If your hair is wavy rather than curly, use a set of plastic curling irons to curl it up. In most cases, wigs made from natural human hair require maintenance. Because human hair is not chemically treated, it can be maintained for a long time. We don't recommend straight hair as this can cause frizz.
Cotton pillows and sheets can ruin your hair's natural shine, so you can wrap your hair in a silk scarf before bed, or you can use a silk pillow to keep it from going all over the place. You can also use plastic wrap when exercising outdoors or at work.
